CRM is among the earlier Chinese enterprises to “go out”. Since 1980s, we purchased materials for railway transportation, production and construction, such as railway tracks, diesel, wheels, electromechanical devices, automotive parts, steel, cement and wood, and cooperated with financial organizations such as World Bank and Asian Development Bank to invite bids for railway materials. At the moment, CRM has established 8 overseas subsidiaries in Hong Kong, the United States, Australia, Sierra Leone and Laos, whose business includes integrated service of railway materials, import and export of automotive parts, equipment leasing, bulk commodity trade and logistics, covering about 20 countries and regions. Meanwhile, we have successfully operated several EPC projects, and the amount of the nonferrous metal, copper exportation, ranks the top three in China, and we have built partnership with many famous enterprises, such as ANSTEEL, Baogang Group, MITSUI & CO., LTD, Voestalpine, LORAM, VALE, BHP, FMG and Royhill. To seize the opportunities brought by the “Belt and Road” initiative, all CRM business sectors have been working together to expand overseas market, and they have got dozens of orders from Laos, Malaysia, Bengal, Iran and other markets along the “Belt and Road” route. For the next decade, we will grab the opportunities brought by Made in China 2025, cooperation of BRICs, constantly innovate to build an international productive service group and better support social and economic development.
