Since China’s first diesel locomotive operated, CRM had been responsible for supplying railway oil, and thus developed a comprehensive system providing supply service following relevant policy of railway oil using. As the sole agency for railway diesel procurement, CRM provides whole-process services including procurement, warehousing, delivery and refueling to 18 railway bureaus and about 300 refueling stations in China, and develops a “four-point” system integrating service network system, resource guarantee system, professional team system and informatization support system. Therefore, we play a leading role in railway diesel materials supply field with a total supply of railway oil of 40 million tons over the past 10 years. In order to ensure the steady supply of the railway diesel, CRM has established joint venture companies with SINOPEC, PetroChina and China National Offshore Oil Corporation respectively. Besides, we have invested 200 million RMB to develop our proprietary China Railway Oil Supply System (“CROSS”), which can optimize the operation of railway oil supply chain and the management of fuel preparation on the basis of network and big data, considerably increasing the informatization level of railway oil supply as well as the efficiency of railway oil delivery, and it has been successfully accepted by the national project and becomes the indispensable information service platform for railway oil supply chain management and fuel preparation. At the moment, CRM’s oil business is undergoing a rapid transformation and upgradation. We develop a complete system providing oil supply and sales service covering a lot of fields, including oil for railway locomotive, construction, factories and mines, ships, wholesaling and retailing of refined oil products, production and sale of lubricating grease and informatization service..
In order to ensure the steady supply of railway oil and smooth operation of national railway, we innovate our railway oil supply service by reestablishing the “four-point” oil supply system integrating service network system, resource guarantee system, professional team system and informatization support system, making railway oil supply more professional and up-to-date.
CRM builds service branches and offices at railway bureaus in China railway bureaus and main railway stations, where we provide whole-process service in respect of railway diesel supply chain to 18 railway bureaus in China as well as joint-venture railways, thus establishing a service network all over the country.
CRM has established joint venture companies with “three battles of oil” respectively, namely SINOPEC, PetroChina and China National Offshore Oil Corporation, fulfilling their demand for railway diesel effectively.
CRM has made contingency plans against all possible events in railway oil products supply. We perform our duty as a state-owned enterprise for years and have successfully dealt with the lack of railway oil in extreme conditions, such as earthquake, freezing hazard and flood, ensuring the normal operation of railway oil supply system.
We play an indispensable role in ensuring sufficient, safe, economic and constant supply of railway oil. A large amount of working staff is sent to be stationed at refinery and oil stations of railway bureaus to make sure that railway locomotive diesel has good quality and can be transported efficiently.
China Railway Oil Supply System (“CROSS”), developed by CRM on the basis of innovative technology, has already been the leading information management platform of oil products supply chain in Chinese railway industry, tremendously increasing the efficiency of railway oil supply chain.
CROSS is the sole platform for oil supply chain management and production operation, providing both software and hardware support to railway, such as IT system planning, supply chain system, ERP system, data warehouse, e-commerce, IT infrastructure, information security, basic application service, operation and maintenance support, monitoring of oil tank in the warehouse of railway refueling station and intelligent large-flow refueling.
CRM has finished the state-level project and successfully passed the acceptance check, which signifies that CROSS has already been an advanced informatization service platform.
CRM, based on the innovative technology of the Internet of Things, makes the distribution of railway locomotive diesel and stock management more intelligent. The special intelligent fueling machine developed by CRM features large flow, high velocity and dual modes. Its fueling velocity reaches 450 liters per minute, greatly increasing the efficiency of railway fueling.
We have 50 thousand cubic meters depot of oil products, which can be used for storing light liquid products including gasoline, kerosene and diesel, and marine-land transfer. The depot can be connected with Sinopec TIANJINSHIHUA and PetrolChina Dagang Petrochemical Company through pipe network.
We have a thirty-year-old lubricating oil production base in Gansu province that integrates research and development, production and marketing. It is one of the fixed-point factories for lubricating oil specialized for locomotives, mainly producing gear oil, motor suspension bearing oil, diesel and engine oil and so on, which have already covered 18 railway bureaus. The company has registered “Tianma” trademark which is now a well-known trademark in Gansu province.
Based on the IoT and big data, CRM is being innovative and distributes railway oil with autos, solving the “last kilometer” problem in railway oil supply, which satisfies the demand for “point-to-point” fueling and guarantees the steady supply of railway locomotive diesel.
We vigorously support the railway construction and national and regional key construction projects and have built an integrated oil products service system relying on flexible delivery.
In order to break the monopoly of foreign factories, CRM’s subsidiary, Oil Group, together with CHINA ACADEMY OF RAILWAY SCIENCES, have been working on the Harmony Series Locomotives Gear Oil Project, aiming to produce Chinese substitute for the gear oil inside the electric locomotives and achieve independent research and development, production and supply.
